John McLaughlin
John is the Climate Project Officer for the Charleville Region and has been involved in the research and extension space for almost a decade.
For the past 12 months, John has been working as the Project Manager at Upscale Carbon, assisting graziers across Queensland to take part in Australia"s growing Carbon Industry. Before this, he led the Grazing Program for Northern Gulf NRM - based in Georgetown in Queensland"s Gulf Country. In this role, he provided cattle producers with on-ground advice on Grazing Land Management and Animal Production, with a special focus on improving land condition and overall ecosystem health. Having been involved in the Northern Australian Climate Program for almost 4 years, John has a sound understanding of Climate Drivers and how graziers can utilize climate tools and information to make better business decisions.
